Originally founded in 1927 to provide refuge to homeless young women, Central & Cecil Housing Trust has expanded to offer support to families and the elderly. The Trust manages 30 buildings across London, Middlesex, Surrey and Berkshire.
In 2016 C&C issued a tender for a new IT partner as the company had outgrown its current provider. The new partner needed to be able to support C&C’s growth and enable them to expand. C&C chose Trilogy because of its experience and its central London location – close to C&C buildings.
Trilogy undertook security and network health checks of the IT environment. Firewalls were upgraded and the organisation migrated to Office 365. Wi-Fi was installed in all sites. Trilogy updated the disaster recovery site in Surrey and refreshed data centre storage. Trilogy now proactively manages and monitors C&C’s IT infrastructure across all sites and supports C&Cs backup and disaster recovery processes.
Trilogy provides dedicated IT help desk support and regularly assesses the ICT infrastructure using Health Checks. This ensures that C&C’s infrastructure is best secured from hackers, spam and viruses.
